The Live Scanner comes with three built-in watchlists to help you get started with scanning right away. These watchlists are based on popular indices and can be accessed by clicking on the “Built-in Watchlists” button on the Watchlist page.
- The DOW 30 Watchlist This watchlist contains the 30 blue-chip stocks that make up the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The Dow 30 Watchlist is perfect for traders who want to hyper-focus on a small group of stocks, particularly those interested in trading the broader market.
- The NASDAQ 100 Watchlist This watchlist contains the 100 largest non-financial companies listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange. The Nasdaq 100 Watchlist is ideal for traders who want to focus on tech stocks and have a larger selection of stocks to choose from than the Dow 30.
- The S&P 500 Watchlist This watchlist contains the 500 largest companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange or NASDAQ. The S&P 500 Watchlist is the broadest of the built-in watchlists and is perfect for traders who want to cast a wider net and find more opportunities in different sectors.
By using one of these built-in watchlists, you can save time and effort by not having to manually add stocks to your watchlist.
Additionally, these watchlists can also be loaded into the Live Scanner, allowing you to run scans on only the stocks in your watchlist. This feature is particularly useful for traders who want to focus on a specific set of stocks and filter out any unwanted noise.
Note: Built-in watchlists cannot be edited or deleted.
